Zoneflex encompasses Pilates principles and flexibility work to deliver a targeted strength and stretch class for endurance sports participants and general fitness fanatics alike. Pilates is renowned for it͛s benefits in improving flexibility, strength and body awareness and for many has become a powerful cross-training secret. These 30 minute workouts are designed to make participants physically balanced, whilst building strength in the muscle groups specific to certain sports, focusing on the tiny muscles that support the dominant, superficial muscles. The class format consists of sport specific Pilates moves, core stability and stretching sequences which alleviate pain caused by endurance training, as well as sports such as tennis and golf, by strengthening the essential muscles utilised. Each quarterly release comes with it͛s own specially commissioned music profile sport specific teaching notes.
